The prestigious annual Ikeja
City Award (ICA) is here again and this year will mark the 9th
edition of the epoch-making event.
However, the 2014 edition will parade some side attractions and these
include the honorary awards that will go to 30 grassroots personalities. 10
exemplary leadership awards will also be given out to selected personalities
and from all walks of life.
Amongst the award categories,
10 other corporate bodies that have done well in the area of Corporate Social
Responsibilities, Customer Service and in the area of good service provision
will cart away award plaques for their excellence performance in the areas
mentioned above. As it is every other year, the theme of this year’s ICA, is
The Roles of Corporate Bodies in Achieving Good Governance; the lecture,
however is to remind the corporate bodies of their responsibilities to the
people and the community in general.
The event will tentatively
hold on 7th December, 2014. It starts by 4pm while the Red Carpet will
commence two hours earlier.
Meanwhile, names and votes for

Top media houses in Lagos and its environs have also thrown their weights
behind the event.
